Procedures to Prepare for the Holidays

The holidays will be here before you know it and holiday parties as well.  Everyone wants to look their best when meeting with family and friends, but sometimes makeup and creams are not enough- this is where non-surgical cosmetic procedures can help. Whether you wish to make a statement with your new look or simply appear more refreshed, there is a procedure that can help you achieve your cosmetic goals.

Every procedure, regardless if surgical or non-surgical, requires at least a brief consultation. This enables you to discuss your concerns with the doctor and to review treatment options to meet your goals. It can take up to several weeks to get a consultation and then another couple of weeks to coordinate your treatments so plan ahead!

Botox/Dysport

Wrinkles can cause you to appear aged, stressed, or even angry. With Botox and its competitor Dysport,  is made up of botulinum toxin, which blocks muscular nerve signals and weakens muscles so they cannot contract. The injectables help to smooth unwanted crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, and frown-lines with no downtime. Botox and Dysport are a quick and easy option for patients looking to receive a touch-up before the holiday season. Dysport starts to work within 48-hours and Botox within 5-7 days. There is literally little to no down time with Botox and Dysport and results commonly last about three to six months.

Fillers

At Stanislaw Facial Plastic Surgery Center, we offer a variety of dermal fillers, including Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Sculptra, Restylane, Restylane Lyft, and Restylane Silk. These fillers can help to restore volume in hollow areas of the face, rejuvenate the eyes and cheeks, plump the lips, and soften facial creases and wrinkles. Dermal fillers work instantly, though the duration of fillers depends on which product is used and where it is injected. As a general rule, the closer to the mouth, the quicker it breaks down. Overall, fillers can help to give you a younger, more rejuvenated appearance.  Recovery time for fillers varies from 1-2 weeks for most injections however we recommend 6-8 weeks for eye rejuvenation to play it safe. Although bruising is significantly reduced with our new injection techniques, it does not guarantee you will not bruise so plan ahead for the holidays!

Facials
