What is a Liquid Rhinoplasty?
in Avon, Connecticut
Because the nose is at the center of the face, it can either bring together or throw off facial harmony. If your nose is too large, too small, crooked, or is at an unflattering angle, you may want to consider nose surgery. However, not everyone is interested in invasive procedures. A liquid rhinoplasty is a great nonsurgical option to transform your nose.
The Treatment
A liquid rhinoplasty changes the shape of the nose using injectable fillers. This procedure works by filling hollows or depressions to improve the shape and size of the nose, position the nasal tip, straighten the nose, and hide a bump. Restylane, Juvederm, and Radiesse can all be used to perform a liquid rhinoplasty.
While this treatment is a good alternative to surgery, it cannot make the nose smaller and cannot remove bumps in the nose. A surgical rhinoplasty is needed to correct these issues.
Benefits
There are many benefits associated with a liquid rhinoplasty, including little to no downtime, and mild side-effects. While bruising may occur, most people are able to return to work right away. Results are also immediate. Liquid rhinoplasty results are also not permanent, so if you don’t like your results they can be dissolved within 24 hours.
As you can see, liquid rhinoplasty is a possible option to change the shape of your nose. If you are interested in learning more about liquid rhinoplasty, contact our office today to schedule a consultation.
