Ask the Skincare Expert: How Often Should I be Washing my Makeup Brushes?
in Avon, Connecticut
Typically once monthly would be adequate. If eye area brush, lip brush, or heavily soiled liquid brush, the recommendation would be daily with a light brush cleaner made for cleaning after each use.
Many brushes are made from different materials/hairs. Each manufacturer has their specific recommendations and always best to follow their directions.
