Dr. Paul Stanislaw, Jr. was the
first Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon in
the Greater Hartford Area. He is Double Board
Certified in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck
Surgery as well. Dr. Stanislaw is a Fellow of
the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of
the American Academy of Facial Plastic &
Reconstructive Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Colby College, and graduated with Honors in the Major of Biology. Upon graduation, he was awarded a research grant to study tumor suppressor genes at the National Institutes of Health. He then attended Albany Medical College, and graduated with distinction as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. At Albany Medical Center Hospital he completed a five year residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. A major portion of this residency was dedicated training in Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery. With a desire for further training in this area, he completed a fellowship through the American Academy of Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. This fellowship was focused entirely on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the nose, eyes, face and neck. Dr. Stanislaw was in practice in Washington D.C. while his wife was in the United States Air Force. When his wife’s commitment to the Air Force was over, they moved to Connecticut, where he founded the Stanislaw Facial Plastic Surgery Center in 2001. Dr. Stanislaw resides in Burlington with his wife and two children. |
